Saying goodbye to our teams

teams
Our September weekend is wrapping up today, and one of our tasks is to say goodbye to the small teams that have worked together over the past few weekends. Everyone shares appreciative feedback about something each person has given them in their time together, whether it’s an insight, a new skill, a practical application they can use back home, or simply a friendly face. Then, after the feedback session, the teams say goodbye in whatever way they choose: maybe by praying together in a circle, or taking a walk on the beautiful grounds, or just talking and laughing together. Part of our learning is acknowledging and celebrating the relationships we’ve formed as colleagues in close friendship.
